To support the release of their new single, Kill Shelter and Antipole premiere their brand new video for “Raise the Skies” taken from their forthcoming album “A Haunted Place” on Manic Depression Records out March 26th.
“Raise the Skies deals with a poignant truth about human existence. It’s the dichotomy between the celebration of life and the certainty of death and deals with the perspective of outliving, or being outlived, by someone you care for deeply.”
– Pete Burns, Kill Shelter
This contrast plays out in the music itself as it walks the line between euphoria and melancholy. These contrasting themes continue in the video with the visual interplay between darkness and light.
“This was one of the first tracks we completed for the album and it is fitting that it’s the first single. We shot the video over a few days in Norway and Scotland and it definitely sets the scene for things to come.”
– Karl Morten Dahl, Antipole
